Religion and spirituality as concepts are very close to my heart. I was born as a orthodox christian to my converted parents. As a child I went to church with my parents more often than nowadays. Our church was the most beautiful place.. golden lit candles, icons everywhere, beautiful music and architecture. It was truly magical. However I do not agree with many christian teachings from the bible, because I consider them outdated and they do not align with my morals. I believe that christianity at its true core is a beautiful religion, but throughout the years christian teachings have been manipulated into something different and hateful. It’s depressing to see so many christians fill their lives with such wrath..
Now I wanna talk more about my personal beliefs and what I personally like to practise. I am still part of the Orthodox Christian Church, but I do not participate in their gatherings. I have thought about leaving the church, but I feel alright with how things are for now. I enjoy practising my personal spirituality with rituals, praying, manifesting and honouring my ancestors. I do this all with love in my heart. I believe in higher powers, but not exactly in the christian way. I pray for the universe, for the infinite God. My beliefs give me strength, hope and support during hard times. I love researching different rituals, manifestation tactics and ways to love myself. My spirituality shifts pretty often and I'm always finding new ways to fulfill myself.
