Misty Quigley (teen)

Played by: Sammi Hanratty

Misty is the manager of the WHS Yellowjackets soccer team. She is geeky and viewed as "weirdo" by the others. Despite other's comments she is always ready to defend and cheer up her team. Misty lacks social skills and has been severely bullied throughout her childhood. Therefore she has a hard time connecting with people and making friends. For example when Misty got a new friend, she got attached, overshared her own twisted thoughts and got rejected.

In the wilderness Misty realises her worth to the group as a “healer” with her skills in the medical field. Misty loves the feeling of being needed and will do anything to make it forever.

Natalie Scatorccio (teen)

Played by: Sophie Thatcher

Natalie, also known as Nat is a player in WHS Yellowjackets. Nat is described to be different from the rest of the group, dressing more alternatively and having a different lifestyle. Growing up in a trailer park with her abusive family, she started using drugs and drinking alcohol as coping mechanisms for her problems.

After being left stranded in the wilderness, she finds herself being interested in Travis, the son of the head coach Bill Martinez. The two care for each other deeply and later team up as the “Hunters” with their skills of using guns. Natalie is known to be one of the most “moral” people in the group, making her a great leader, but what really is the scale of human values when you’re facing the wilderness?

Jackie Taylor

Played by: Ella Purnell

Jackie is the leader of the WHS Yellowjackets, and pretty good at it! She is charismatic and caring, but can be a mean girl sometimes. Jackie comes from a rich family and she is one of the most popular girls at their high school. She has a complex relationship with her best friend Shauna, which leads to a never-ending curse.

After the crash, Jackie tries keeping her role as the group leader, but as everyone starts losing hope, she becomes irrelevant in their eyes. Her and Shauna’s friendship takes a tragic turn, when the wilderness brings the true colors of the people among us.

Shauna Shipman (teen)

Played by: Sophie Nélisse

Shauna is a soccer player, part of the WHS Yellojackets. She is incredibly smart and destined for a successful life. She is more reserved and cold than her best friend Jackie, who radiates energy. Shauna doesn’t like to show her real emotions and that’s why she lashes out easily.

In the wilderness Shauna distances herself away from Jackie, slowly changing into a shell she once was. She isn’t afraid of blood, and that’s why she is so useful to the group as a “butcher”. Shauna’s ability to take the power and make them fear will rearrange everything. But the ghosts of her past will continue haunting her till the end.

Lottie Matthews (teen)

Played by: Courtney Eaton

Lottie is a soccer player, part of the WHS Yellowjackets. She is quite shy, but a sweet girl with too much power in her hands. Born into a rich family, Lottie started having visions in her early childhood. Later she was prescribed medicine for her mental health, indicating that she might have a condition, such a schizophrenia.

After the crash Lottie’s medicine ran out and she started experiencing visions again. She started to wonder if the wilderness has a more deepful meaning and got baptized in faith by her friend Lottie Lee. As the time passed, the wilderness got full control over Lottie, often making her do and say things that nobody else understood. But how far is she willing to go, in order to please IT?
